This can only happen because of God’s work in our lives. God is continually working in our lives to help us live Biblically. As God helps us in overcoming temptation, giving us peace, or increasing our patience, we know that God is slowly helping us look like the new creature we are.
Because of God’s work in our lives, we shouldn't go back to our past but rather keep living and trusting God every day. Are there any areas in your life that you have noticed God working on you?
