Day 4–Making Space for Grace
Grace thrives in space. When every moment is crammed with activity, there’s little room to recognize how God is moving. But when we slow down, we notice His hand in the small details—the kindness of a friend, the beauty of creation, the quiet whisper of the Spirit.
Isaiah reminds us, “In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength” (Isaiah 30:15). Jesus says, “Abide in me as I abide in you” (John 15:4). These aren’t commands to do more, but invitations to stay connected to the source of life itself.
Making space for grace means giving God the time and attention to work in us. It’s saying no to what drains us so we can say yes to what restores us. The more we abide, the more we grow. When we make room for grace, we find that God is already there, waiting to meet us with peace.
Questions to Reflect On
- How can you make space for grace in your daily routine?
- What might God be trying to show you in moments of stillness?
- Deeper Question: When was the last time you slowed down long enough to notice God’s grace breaking into your ordinary day?
