Finishing StrongNäide

You can still finish strong
No matter what has happened in your past or how badly things may have turned out, you can still finish strong. As long as there is breath in your nostrils, you remain a candidate for God’s mercy.
Scripture is filled with stories of men who stumbled yet finished well. Abraham tried to fulfil God’s promise through Hagar. David took another man’s wife and arranged his death. Samson lost his strength through disobedience. Peter denied Jesus three times. Yet every one of them was restored and ended well in God’s sight.
Don’t believe the enemy’s lie; God never writes people off as long as they are repentant. There is always room for the prodigal in the Father’s house and a place in God’s purpose for the one who turns back to Him. The gifts and calling of God are without repentance; though your assignment may shift, His mercy remains constant.
Proverbs reminds us, “Though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again” (Proverbs 24:16). And John assures us, “If anyone sins, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ the righteous” (1 John 2:1).
Even if your “hair” has been cut off like Samson’s, remember, it can grow again. Never give up on yourself or the calling on your life. Your mistakes do not define you. The moment you repent and turn from them, God erases the record, and He remembers your sins no more. You can always have a new beginning with Him. Don't stay in the mess, speak up to mature elders who can help your restoration, and make up your mind not to return to your past or be held down by guilt.
