Making Much Progress Through Persistent PrayersNäide

The Power in a Righteous Man’s Prayer
When a believer prays, heaven does not stand still; power moves. Prayer is not empty speech; it makes tremendous power available, dynamic in its working. Dynamic means it is not static, always moving, shifting, adjusting, creating multiple pathways for results.
One of the biggest hindrances in prayer is a fixed expectation of how God must answer. Many pray for provision, and immediately their mind runs to a relative, an employer, or the “logical” person who should help. That is a static view of God’s power. When your mind calculates the answer before you pray, you’re no longer praying; rather, you’re instructing God.
True prayer releases God to be God. The Holy Spirit begins to coordinate events far beyond your logic. Once you prayed, activities in the unseen realm began immediately, just as real as the withering of the fig tree began at the roots, before any leaf showed change.
This is why you must never restrict God to a single channel. If you assume God must touch a particular person’s heart, you limit His dynamic power. God can use anyone, anything, and any route, far beyond your imagination. What you see as the “obvious” answer is often the smallest, shallowest route compared to what God has already set in motion.
And just as the enemy tries to distract you during prayer, he also tries to lock your mind into one expected outcome, so that if it doesn’t happen that way, you faint. But prayer was never designed to make God follow your plan; prayer aligns you with His.
So when you pray, don’t instruct God, release Him. Say with conviction, “My prayers are power in motion. They are dynamic in their working.”
That consciousness keeps faith alive long after your words leave your lips, because you know heaven has already begun to move.
Reflection:
Have I reduced God’s power to my limited human reasoning?
Prayer:
Father, thank You for making my prayers a channel of tremendous power. I reject every static expectation. Teach me to see that each time I pray, heaven moves on my behalf and Your Spirit works dynamically through me. Amen.
