Remembering Who God Is This Christmas SeasonNäide

God is Our Deliverer
1. Spend a few moments praising God for being our Deliverer.
Definition: One who sets free or saves another from captivity, hardship or evil
2. Next, spend a few moments silently confessing your sins to our loving God who forgives.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 (NASB)
3. Now, let's spend some time thanking our heavenly Father for the many ways He has been our Deliverer.
In everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NASB)
4. Then, let us pray: LORD, You are my rock, fortress, and deliverer; my God, my rock, may I take refuge in You. From Psalm 18:2a
Lastly, put your child’s name (or someone who needs prayer) in the scripture prayer: LORD,You are ________’s rock, fortress, and deliverer; his/her God and rock, may ________ take refuge in You. From Psalm 18:2a
About this Plan

Moms in Prayer uses the Four Steps of Prayer method to engage our hearts in relationship with our loving Father. Each day's plan calls us to focus on a unique attribute of God to help us keep Him at the center of this Christmas season. This plan uses the steps of Praise, Confession (Repentance), Thanksgiving, Intercession (asking for help with whatever we or our loved ones are facing). Each prayer is accompanied by Bible passages that give us a deeper understanding of God's attributes.
