Here Comes the SonNäide

God’s Plan of Redemption
When Adam and Eve fell in the garden, sin entered the world and humanity became separated from God. Yet even in that moment, God spoke hope. He told the serpent that one day a child would come through the line of a woman, a child who would crush the enemy’s power and bring victory. This was the beginning of redemption, whispered into the darkness at the very start of time.
Throughout history, God continued to remind his people of this promise. He spoke through prophets, declaring that a virgin would give birth to a son called Immanuel, which means “God with us.” Another prophet named Micah revealed that this child would be born in Bethlehem, a small and unlikely town.
Each generation carried the promise forward, even when the world seemed silent. Then, at the perfect moment, when everything was ready, God sent his Son into the world. The Apostle Paul described this moment as the “set time” when all of heaven and earth aligned to reveal God’s plan.
Jesus came not only to teach and heal but to carry the weight of sin on our behalf. His birth points to the cross, and the cross points to the resurrection. Through him, every person is invited back into relationship with God. Christmas is a celebration of that invitation — a reminder that redemption has already begun, and grace is available to everyone who believes.
God’s faithfulness is woven through every part of this story. He does not change his mind or break his promises. The same God who fulfilled his word through Jesus is still working in our lives today, keeping his promises and writing his story of redemption in us.
Think about a situation in your life where you are waiting for God to move. Take a few moments to write down how he has been faithful in the past. Let those memories remind you that his timing is perfect and his promises are sure, even when you cannot yet see the outcome.
