Rooted: Choosing Integrity When It Matters MostNäide

Our words are powerful—and revealing. They can heal or harm, encourage or crush, bring peace or stir conflict. And often, our words say more about our hearts than we realize.
Ephesians 4:29 isn’t about fake positivity. It’s about being intentional: slowing down before we speak, noticing what’s behind our words, and asking, Will this build someone up or tear them down?
Think about your last few conversations or social media posts. What story are your words telling others about your heart?
Pray: Jesus, I want my words to reflect Your kindness and truth. Help me speak in ways that build others up. Let what I say bring life and not harm.
