Love Where You AreNäide

Day 2 - Loving Your Actual Neighbor
It’s easy to love the idea of our neighbor. It’s much harder to love the one who parks too close, or who talks too much, or who votes differently. Yet, Jesus’ command was not to love our “ideal” neighbor, but the actual one.
Love is proximity, seeing, listening, showing up. Jesus didn’t love from a distance; He moved into the neighborhood (John 1:14). To love where you are is to slow down enough to notice who’s there.
The kingdom comes not through grand gestures, but through small acts of faithfulness, a meal shared, a word of encouragement, a moment of prayer. These ordinary moments become the soil where God grows extraordinary things.
Discussion Questions:
1. Who has God placed near you that might need your presence or encouragement?
2. What barriers keep you from engaging your neighbors more fully?
3. What’s one small act of love you can show today?
