PSALM 129
THEY HAVE AFFLICTED ME FROM MY YOUTH
The Israelites have been afflicted all their lives, but they still remember how God has helped them prevail. This song is a reminder that although we may suffer, God has the ultimate victory, and He is worth praising.
Psalm 129:4 ESV - "The Lord is righteous; he has cut the cords of the wicked."
STUDY QUESTIONS
- Psalm 128 highlights the blessings that come from following God, but Psalm 129 emphasizes the suffering experienced by the Israelites.
