When the couple is reunited, they delight in each other. The bride declares “I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine” (SOS 6:3 ESV). The man describes the woman as the only one for him, comparing her to queens, concubines, and virgins. He tells her that she is perfect and calls her his dove.
