Growing in Faith

A famous Italian song says: “Words, words, words… just words.” The singer expresses the disappointment of a love made only of empty promises. How many times are we too surrounded by worthless words, promises that shatter at the first obstacle?

But the words of Jesus are completely different. They come from the One who gave up His throne for our sake. He didn’t just say “I love you”, He showed His love on the cross.

His words are not just sounds: they are Life, Truth, and Power. Every time we listen to or read the Word of God, something happens inside us. A spark is lit, a flame begins to grow.

Faith isn’t mental effort or a passing emotion; it’s a miracle born from what God says. Just as Jesus rose from the dead, faith rises in us every time we receive His Word with an open heart.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I want to hear Your voice more than any other. Let my faith grow each day through Your Word. Nourish my heart with the Truth and transform my life. Amen.
