Our Blessings – 3

From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another.

The blessing of the Lordbe upon you; we bless you in the name of the Lord.… The Lordbestows his blessing, even life forevermore. … So will I save you, and you will be a blessing. Do not be afraid, but let your hands be strong.

Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false. He will receive blessing from the Lordand vindication from God his Savior. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, O God of Jacob.

Do not be afraid, my servant, for I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants. They will spring up like grass in a meadow, like poplar trees by flowing streams.

I will bless them and the places surrounding my hill. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing. The trees of the field will yield their fruit and the ground will yield its crops; the people will be secure in their land. They will know that I am the Lord, when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from the hands of those who enslaved them.
