Romans: A 30 Day VisitNäide

We saw yesterday that we often think ourselves the wise ones. Today, ask the Holy Spirit to give you His eyes and His wisdom as you read and think about these verses.
How have you seen, in your own life, that God's kindness moved you towards Him?
Paul explains how damaging it can be when we judge another for a specific action or word, all the while doing that very thing! Have you ever felt judged unjustly in a relationship? What happened?
All over the scriptures, we come to understand that humans, we, are fashioned by a loving God 'in His image'. Paul explains here that our conscience bears witness to God's laws and desires being written on our hearts, into our very being. When is a time that you just knew some action or word would violate God's law without explicitly being told?
Spend a few minutes reflecting on how amazing it is to be created uniquely in the image of the God of the universe. He sees you, He made you, and He loves you. Take a few deep breaths and soak in those words.

About this Plan

Paul's letter to the church in Rome is packed! He is helping this new church establish a vision for what it looks like to be citizens of God's Kingdom. There is doctrine to learn and live by, as well as wisdom for living life in ways that accurately reflect the King. As we take the trip together over the next month, we too see that what we believe, always influences how we live.
