Heart of Worship: 30 Days to Deeper PraiseNäide

Hey there, it's ANTHNY here! I'm excited to bring you today's Scripture from Romans 14:11 NIV:

“It is written: ‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.’”

This Scripture is such a huge reminder for me to make sure I'm walking with the Lord closely and in an upright way, and that I'm also following the lead of the Spirit in how I deal with my brothers and sisters in Christ on a daily basis. It's pulled from a chapter in Romans that speaks directly to the body of Christ about being patient and accepting to those in the body who might have weak faith. I'm encouraged through this Scripture that there will come a day when I will stand before the Lord almighty, with full acknowledgement of His Lordship and give an account for everything including the way that I treat my fellow Christians no matter where they are in their walk with God. I hope this Scripture reminds us to keep eternity, and our one day face-to-face encounter with Jesus as we labor with, and encourage those who are in the faith with us.

Take a moment and ask yourself today, where am I not bowing to Christ in my life currently? Sit for a moment and reflect (whether it's your finances, relationships, career, or something else) and then pray with me:

Father, thank You for the opportunity You've given us to come to the seat of Your throne as we are. Whether we are in the mountain or in the valley, You have proven to be a Good Shepherd and comforter. Forgive us for the ways we forget to acknowledge You, and let this prayer be a reminder that today we can always return back to You.
