Day 30 – Commissioning Our Children

Scripture: “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” – 3 John 1:4 (NIV)

Reflection

We have come to the end of this 30-day journey, but in truth, parenting is a lifelong calling. These days have reminded us that our children are arrows in God’s hand, created for His purpose, and meant to shine as lights in the world. Our role is to prepare, guide, and release them with faith and trust in God’s plan.

Commissioning our children means speaking over them that they belong to the Lord and are being sent out for His Kingdom. We will not always be with them in every situation, but God will. We can trust that He who began a good work in them will carry it to completion.

“My children are commissioned for God’s Kingdom and will walk boldly in His truth.”

Prayer

Father, I place my children fully in Your hands. I declare that they belong to You and that they will walk in the truth of Your Word. Commission them today for the calling You have prepared for them. May they live boldly for You and carry Your light into the world. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Pray a commissioning prayer over your children today. Lay your hands on them, if possible, and declare God’s promises over their lives.
