Promises of God
The Bible is full of promises God makes to the people who choose to follow Him. We call these covenants. But how do we know God will always do what He says? It’s pretty simple; He always has! Just look at the life of Jesus: Every detail, from His family tree to the way Judas betrayed Him in the garden, was a promise God kept to save us from our sin. So, if you ever feel like you don’t know what to believe, start with God’s Word. He is always trustworthy. God never breaks His covenantS. His Word never fails.
Reflection:
Take this question to an adult in your home: What do the promises we find in the Bible teach us about who God is?
Prayer:
“God, thank You for being the One I can always trust in. People may let me down, but You never do. When You make a promise, You keep it. Please help me to hold tight to Your Word today, and know that what it says will always be true. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
