Day 1: God Will Give You a Helper

Scripture
“But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.”– John 15:26 NKJV

Devotion
When Jesus Christ died for our sins, He sent the Holy Spirit to dwell with us. The Holy Spirit is not only our Helper but also our Comforter, Advocate, Strengthener, and Teacher. As you begin this devotion, make a commitment to invite the Holy Spirit into every area of your life.

Before making a move or decision, pause and ask the Holy Spirit for guidance. If you struggle to obey God in any area, seek the Spirit’s strength to do what is right. In moments of urgency, when you need quick direction, remember John 14:26. The Amplified Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit is also our Standby—always present, ready to give wisdom and peace in life’s “911 moments.” Call on Him today; He is faithful to respond.

Prayer
Abba Father,

I ask for the guidance of the Holy Spirit in all things. Where there is uncertainty, lead me in the right path. Where there is hesitation, grant me strength to move forward in faith. Provide me with divine direction, solutions, and spiritual revelation so I may fulfill the plans You have for me. I declare that the Holy Spirit is my ever-present Helper, giving me all I need to live victoriously in Christ. It is in Jesus Christ’s name, I pray. Amen.
