DAY 11 OF 60

Romans 3
The greatest testimony

Paul isn’t writing to the Roman church with a harsh tone or throwing out rebuke like a bad review online. He’s a spiritual father—one who genuinely cares about the people he’s speaking to. Like any good father, his desire isn’t to scold but to see growth. That might come through correction, but it also comes through encouragement and perspective.

In these verses, Paul highlights the unique blessing of being a Jew: they were entrusted with the revelation of God—the very words and promises that revealed His character and plan. That’s a powerful legacy, and one not to be taken lightly.

But here's where this message hits home for all of us. It’s easy to slip into comparison. Especially if your story doesn’t feel “radical” or “broken-then-restored.” Maybe you’ve walked with Jesus your whole life. Maybe you haven’t strayed far. And in a world that celebrates dramatic transformation, it’s easy to wonder—Do I even have a testimony?

But hear this: there is no greater testimony than not needing one. There’s no greater healing than never having been wounded in the first place. If you’ve been walking with Jesus from the start, praise God! That’s His faithfulness, too.

Rather than looking to the left or to the right, Paul calls us to look up—to fix our eyes on the God who has given us life, truth, and grace. Whether you’ve come to Him through brokenness or through consistency, what matters most is your response today. Are you thankful? Are you listening? Are you growing?

So before diving deeper into Paul’s confrontation of sin and his declarations of grace, pause. Take a moment to thank God—not just for what He’s done, but for the life He’s given you. For the ordinary, steady walk of faith. For the protection, the guidance, and the presence you’ve known all along.

Don’t compare your journey. Just keep your eyes on Jesus.
