40 Days to Awaken Your Sober Mind

DAY 20 OF 40

Alright, Sis...we gotta let go of the all-or-nothing trap. This isn’t about perfect streaks, it’s about spiritual progress.

You will stumble. You’ll have hard days. But that doesn’t mean you’re failing. It means you’re growing.

God’s compassion isn’t on a quota; it’s new every morning. You can fall and get up time and time again. Progress is laced with grace.

I'm always reminded by women in our SoberSis community that every slip up or mistake is not a setback but rather valuable feedback for the journey ahead. Forget the mistake, but remember the lesson. That’s exactly what God does with our mistakes, failures, and shortcomings, so why shouldn’t we?

Psalm 103:12 states that He removes us from our transgressions. Sis, the goal isn’t perfection. The goal is presence and consistency.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You that perfection isn’t the goal, presence is. Help me embrace my journey with grace and keep moving forward. Thank you for the vastness of Your mercy and grace!

Journal Prompt:
What does “progress over perfection” mean to you today? Write about a moment you got back up instead of giving up.

About this Plan

40 Days to Awaken Your Sober Mind

Have you found yourself at the end of a long day, wondering, “Is this glass of wine really helping? You’re not alone. Let's awaken your sober mind through presence, grace, and truth. We’ll explore what it means to pause, connect, and live in alignment. We’re going to look at what God’s Word says about freedom, peace, and wholeness. Each day, I encourage you to slow down and really reflect. Let this be more than just a reading. Let it be a rewiring. You are not broken. You’re being rebuilt. One day at a time, one choice at a time.
