Master, the Tempest Is RagingNäide

GOD’S WORD IS POWERFUL!
In the Old Testament, we observe that God became angered with the Israelites due to their failure to comprehend His work in their lives, leading to a pervasive negativity in their thoughts and words. Consequently, God allowed them to experience the consequences of the very words they spoke over their own lives (Numbers 14:28).
Words have power: Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue”. Just as God created the entire universe by the utterance of His Word, He has given the same authority to man, who is created in God’s Image. Our words have the same creative power. Therefore, God expects us to use the powerful tongue for creative purpose and not for destruction.
Words are Spirit and Life: “… the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” John 6:63. If God’s words are Spirit and life, we can speak them in faith over our lives, marriage, children, family, and situations. To become familiar with appropriate Scriptures, regular reading of the Bible should be prioritized. Underlining and meditating on Scripture can enhance familiarity, allowing the Holy Spirit to remind us of the right verses at opportune moments. We can also select specific Scripture verses to decree and declare over our lives in Jesus' name. Faith will activate the Words we declare, and God will bring it to pass. Audibly declaring Scripture during prayer reinforces God’s Word in our hearts, renewing our minds and strengthening our trust in His promises.
We can openly and boldly declare God’s Word when confronting the enemy. As we do so, the strongholds will be broken.
Declarations:
I decree and declare in Jesus’ name, every ungodly kingdom that is ruling our marriage will be overthrown and destroyed, and may God’s kingdom be established. Haggai 2:22
I decree and declare in Jesus’ name, the Lord Himself will be a wall of fire around us, protecting us from every attack of the enemy, and the Lord will be the glory in our midst. Zechariah 2:5

About this Plan

The disciples were caught in a storm while Jesus slept in their boat. They woke Him, pleading for help, and He miraculously calmed the storm. Similarly, in troubled marriages, we may seek God’s divine intervention, but God often focuses on transforming hearts. This devotional encourages opening our hearts to Jesus for the necessary support in a marital relationship. In order to restore a marriage relationship, God may sometimes choose just one spouse. You may be that one! We pray that this devotional will guide you in opening your heart to Jesus, allowing Him to provide the counsel you need.
