Mountain Movers

Faith is like a muscle we can strengthen over time. We each come to the Lord with a little faith in our hearts; that faith is planted like a seed, straight from God’s own heart. But we don’t have to remain at our factory setting of faith. We can grow stronger.

If you want to move mountains with your faith, you don’t get there overnight. You stretch your faith little by little by being obedient to the Spirit’s leading and by seeing his faithfulness come through. The more you actively use your faith, the stronger it will grow. Trust him just a little more today. Trust him with your tender hopes and your fragile heart. He not only takes care of you, mending what others have broken, but he restores you. He pours the liquid gold of his love to fill the cracks, and you become stronger in him. Trust him that what he asks you to do is right. He gives wise counsel and only asks us to do what is best. Trust that he guides you wisely and well.

The more time you spend seeking the Lord, the more you will become like him. Ask the Lord what he would have you do today to stretch your faith even a bit, and do that thing. Then do the next thing and the next. Soon you will find your faith strengthened.
