THE PURPOSE THAT SETS OTHERS FREE
One of Satan’s greatest lies is to make you believe two things: that eternity depends on you and that your purpose is all about you. But both couldn’t be further from the truth. Eternal life isn’t gained by what you do or don’t do—it’s only because of what Jesus already did for you. And your purpose? It was created for you, but it was never meant to be about you.
You were set free only by the blood and grace of Jesus Christ. But you have been set free not just from something, but for something. You have been set free to go and set other people free— to share the good news and truth of Jesus Christ that offers everlasting freedom to a broken and lost world.
You are a part of a bigger picture, but you are not the picture. The picture is Jesus—He is the beginning, the right now, and the forevermore. Eternity is secure for those who know Him, but how you choose to spend your life on earth will determine how you spend your life in eternity. That means the choices you make today matter more than you think.
True purpose requires you to value what is important over what is immediate. It’s not about building a name for yourself or chasing applause. It’s about choosing what will last forever over what will fade tomorrow. Every act of obedience, every moment of surrender, every time you choose to love instead of self-promote—you are stepping into God’s bigger story.
Your God-given, unique purpose was made for you, but it’s not meant for you. It’s meant to point others to Jesus, to bring Him glory, and to prepare you for eternity.
The question is—will you live for what’s temporary and small, or will you live with eternity and true purpose in mind?
