Devotional Day 3:

God is with Us in Every Season of Our Life

In life, we experience seasons, and no two are the same. But there is one guaranteed constant: God’s presence and authority in every season, every day. He is the creator of life and knows what we are going through. He will never leave us alone; He is prepared to see us through.

Life can bring moments of extreme joy, deep sadness, and disappointment. In my moments of sadness and pain, Psalm 54:4 reminded me that God would always be there, no matter what I was going through.

The same is echoed in Psalm 80:1-7 - a lament psalm expressing the hope that God will once again intervene in the lives of His people.

Allow me to remind you that GOD IS WITH US ALWAYS in every season, even when it feels like he is silent and absent. He will be your present help in times of trouble and never leave or forsake you. So, whether you are experiencing joy or sorrow, success or failure, peace or turmoil, always remember that God, the creator of life, will carry you through.

Abounding Truth

God’s love is everlasting. He is always with you and knows how to help you navigate every season. God will also restore you with seasons of blessings as you put your faith in Him.

• What season would you say you are experiencing?
• Whom will you seek help from?
• What do you need to surrender? How will you do that?
• Think of the seasons you’ve experienced, and list the characteristics you developed in the process. How will you celebrate and appreciate where you were and where you are now?
