When we surrender our life to Jesus; He doesn't bring us from bad to good or good to great. He brings us from spiritual death to spiritual life! In other words, we have a powerful testimony and Jesus wants us to share that story and the Gospel story with others.
If we're following Jesus, we're called to make the Great Commission our mission, regardless of our degree or vocation. And we're called to be a witness for Jesus regardless of our spiritual gifts, age or stage of life or our current circumstances.
APPLICATION:
What do these verses teach about the importance of living on mission and reaching others?
Who are people in your life (who don't know Jesus) that you'd like to begin praying for? (Family, friends, classmates, coworkers, roommates, neighbors, etc.)
Write out your two-minute testimony:
- Describe your life before surrendering to Jesus
- Describe how and when you repented and surrendered your life to Jesus
- Describe your life now
NEXT STEPS:
- Pray for the people on your prayer list
- Share your testimony with someone
- Set a time to meet for Day 7
