Being Courageous for the Lord: Devotions for Girls (I Am Fearless)Näide

Saul, later known as Paul, became a great missionary for Jesus. He was dedicated to sharing the gospel so that others would also know the life-giving message of Jesus. When he was imprisoned for his faith, Paul asked the Christians in Ephesus to pray that he would share about Jesus fearlessly.
We should also call on other believers when we need prayer and encouragement.
Reflection:
Sometimes we don't know what to say to others. Paul must have felt that same way because, from the verse, what did he ask the fellow believers to pray for him about?
Prayer:
Lord, thank you that I am Fearless. I pray you would give me words to say when I don't know what to say. Give me courage to ask others to pray for me when I need it so I can share about you fearlessly. In Jesus' name, amen.
Action:
Is there a friend you can be a prayer partner with? That just means you can be praying for each other. You could share prayer requests once a week and then spend time throughout the week praying for that friend. Pray about who you could ask to be a prayer partner, and then ask that friend.

About this Plan

We will face trouble in this world like Paul, Barnabus, and Jesus did, but we can still be courageous for the Lord like they were. These devotions will help girls have courage too, knowing that Jesus has overcome the world! These devotions are based on the "I am Fearless" chapter from "I am Yours: Prayers For God's Girl" by Wynter Pitts. Each devotion has a short teaching, reflection question(s), prayer, and action step. On their own or with a parent, girls can enjoy connecting with the Lord and growing in their faith a day at a time!
