Creating to Heal: 7 Days of Healing Through Art & PrayerNäide

True healing begins with honesty. It starts when you’re willing to pause, look inward, and ask: What’s really going on inside me?
Psalm 139:23 says, “Search me, O God… see if there is any offensive way in me.” That word “offensive” doesn’t mean sinful in the legalistic sense—it means harmful, broken, heavy. Parts of you formed around pain, disappointment, and trauma.
Jesus asked a man who had been sick for 38 years, “Do you want to be made well?” (John 5:6). That wasn’t a cruel question. It was an invitation to want something more.
Today, God is asking you the same: Do you want to be made well? Are you willing to look at the patterns you’ve used to cope—anger, fear, perfectionism, isolation—and bring them to the light?
And here’s the beauty: Lamentations says His mercies are new every morning. He meets your brokenness not with judgment, but compassion.
Recognizing what’s broken doesn’t shame you—it sets you up to be free.
Reflection Question:
What hurts, memories, or behaviors is God gently surfacing right now?
Creative Prompt:
Draw or collage a heart. On one side, fill it with words, symbols, or colors that represent old pain or unhealthy patterns. Leave the other side blank—for now.
