Artist Rise Up: Embrace Your Calling, Release God’s GloryNäide

Your art is not meant to hide in the corner of a church or stay confined to your studio walls. God designed it to go into the world. The marketplace isn’t secular—it’s strategic.
Colossians 3:23 challenges us: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” Your business is not “less spiritual” than ministry—it is ministry when offered to God.
Jesus said, “You are the light of the world… Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in Heaven” (Matthew 5:14–16). Your creative light wasn’t made to be hidden—it was made to illuminate dark places and attract people to Him.
Proverbs 22:29 says that someone skilled in their work will serve before kings. When you steward your creativity with excellence and faith, God opens doors that no man can shut. He’ll place your work in rooms where it carries divine influence—sometimes silently, sometimes boldly, but always powerfully.
You don’t need a pulpit to minister. Your art, displayed with intention and excellence in the marketplace, can carry God’s presence just as deeply.
Reflection Prompt:
Where has God placed you to shine right now? How can you begin to view your art business, exhibitions, or sales interactions as opportunities for Kingdom impact?
