How to See God in Middle SchoolNäide

Have you ever had a really busy day where it felt like there was no spare time for anything? School, sports, friends, and homework have to take priority—so it can feel like there’s no time left for God. But even Jesus, who was constantly surrounded by people, made time to connect with God. In this verse, we see Jesus getting up early to spend time in prayer, showing us how important it is to make space for time with God in our everyday lives.
Spending time with God doesn’t have to mean waking up before sunrise or sitting in silence for hours. It can be as simple as reading a Bible verse before school, listening to worship music, journaling, or praying before bed. Just like any friendship, our relationship with God grows when we spend time together.
Pick one small way to spend time with God this week. Maybe it’s continuing to read this Devotional Series, writing down things you’re thankful for, or praying while you get ready in the morning. When you make time for God, you’ll start noticing God more in your everyday life.
