Miracles and Mysteries: Matthew 8-13Näide

What kind of soil is your heart?
Jesus explains the meaning of the sower’s parable: the seed is the word of God, and different hearts respond in different ways. Some reject it outright. Others receive it joyfully but fall away when trials come. Some are choked by worries and wealth. But the good soil—the heart that truly receives the word—bears fruit.
The glory of Jesus is seen in His call to all nations, yet not all will respond. The gospel is freely sown, but only those who are truly His will endure and bear fruit. This echoes Ezekiel 36:26, where God promises to give His people new hearts—soft, receptive, and ready to grow.
Today, ponder this: Is your heart open, shallow, distracted, or truly bearing fruit for Christ?
