Have you ever wondered how the enemy might try to derail your financial life?

I recently did an interesting experiment where I asked AI to role-play as Satan, explaining his strategies for destroying someone's financial and spiritual life.

The results were eye-opening - and eerily accurate.

The first three strategies revealed were clear:

1. Feed an insatiable appetite for materialism
2. Amplify fears about scarcity
3. Promote selfishness disguised as "self-care"

Notice the subtlety here.

The enemy rarely tempts us with obvious evil. Instead, he twists good things - like proper self-care or prudent planning - into weapons against our souls.

He knows that if he can get us obsessed with accumulating stuff, we'll eventually wander from our faith.

If he can amplify our fears about not having enough, we'll stop trusting God's provision.

And if he can convince us that excessive spending is just "taking care of ourselves," we'll justify any purchase.

But once you recognize these tactics, they lose their power.

When you know the enemy's playbook, you can counter his moves with God's truth.

Remember, Jesus said we can't serve both God and money.

Every day, we choose which master we'll follow.

Let's pray: Father, open my eyes to see where the enemy might be trying to derail my financial life. Help me recognize his lies and counter them with Your truth. Give me wisdom to serve You, not money.
