His Glory, Our Story – Living in Divine InclusionNäide

Day 5: The Spirit of Life in Christ
The reality of being in Christ comes with an incredible gift: the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:1 reveals that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. This isn’t just freedom from guilt—it’s the beginning of a new life empowered by the Spirit.
The Spirit, who is also called the Spirit of Christ, came to dwell within us. He is not visiting when we have certain experiences. Experiences and emotions come and go, not so with the Spirit.
The Spirit empowers us to think differently, live differently, and walk in the new life God has given us. Living by the Spirit requires intentionality—setting your mind on the things of the Spirit rather than the things of the flesh. It’s a daily choice to embrace the new life God has given you and to walk in His peace and power.
Remember, Grace is not opposed to effort. It’s opposed to earning. The Spirit energizes us for the focused effort of setting our minds on the things of the Spirit and giving our whole selves as a living sacrifice for the mission of King Jesus.
Next Step:
Spend 10 minutes in silence, inviting the Holy Spirit to fill you with life and peace. Ask God to help you recognize His presence and guidance in your daily life.
Let’s pray…
