How to Start Well and Finish GreatNäide

Never Lose Sight Of The Prize
Our lives are but specks in the vastness of the universe. James, the brother of Jesus, writes that we are like a mist or a vapour, here today and gone tomorrow. That’s how fleeting our lives are, yet God is so mindful of us and has such great plans and designs for each of our lives. If nothing else moves you to live life to the fullest, this should.
Each of us were made for a greater purpose than just serving ourselves. What we do while on earth has eternal significance. Nothing in our lives is wasted when we begin to see our existence through the lens of eternity. Christ redeems our stories, however dark or dramatic it has been and sets us on a path of joy and fulfillment like we never imagined. Living out this life, day after day, will need us to keep looking to Jesus for direction, strength and courage for without Him, we can do nothing.
The key to enduring till the very end is to abide with Him at all times, through thick and thin, so that we don’t lose sight of the prize which is Jesus himself. Eternity began the moment you said ‘yes’ to Jesus. You stepped into a new dimension where you now live, not for yourself, but for Him. This new life that you experience will be one where you’ll often feel unprepared yet will, strangely enough, have the grace for. Don’t give up when the going gets hard. Keep running towards Jesus, the one who called you. He’ll carry you till the end.
Tip:
Keep reminders in the form of note cards with Bible verses stuck on your desk or fridge that remind you of Jesus and his promises so that you keep running even when you feel like giving up.
