Day 7: Praying for Guidance

Scripture: Psalm 119:18 - "Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law."

Reflection:

We should always pray for the Holy Spirit to illuminate our understanding of Scripture. He is the ultimate teacher, and He will guide us into all truth. Praying for guidance reminds us of our dependence on God and our need for His help in interpreting His Word. It acknowledges that we cannot understand Scripture on our own, but that we need the Holy Spirit's guidance and illumination.

Praying for guidance involves asking the Holy Spirit to open our eyes and hearts to the truth of God's Word. It means seeking His wisdom and discernment, knowing that He is the ultimate interpreter of Scripture. It means approaching the Bible with a humble and teachable spirit, open to learning and growing in our understanding.

As we pray for guidance, we are reminded of the power and presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We experience His teaching and His illumination, knowing that He is with us and that He is guiding us into all truth. We find the courage to face our doubts and the confidence to live lives of faith and obedience.
