Peaceful Promises: 10 Days in the PsalmsNäide

Be Still and Know
A few years ago, a storm knocked out the power at our house. The TV went silent, the hum of appliances stopped, and everything was still. At first, it felt unsettling. But as I lit candles and sat in the quiet, I realized how peaceful it was to just be still.
Psalm 46 tells us to "Be still and know that I am God." When life feels chaotic, we often try to fix everything ourselves. But true peace comes when we stop striving and trust that God is in control.
Prayer: Lord, help me to be still and rest in the knowledge that You are in control. Amen.
