Imago Dei: Meditation
Pause for a moment and take a deep breath. As you meditate on Romans 8:31-39, reflect on the truth that you are made in God’s image—Imago Dei. Allow this truth to settle deeply in your heart.
Romans 8:31-39 NIV—What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? ... For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Consider any lies you’ve believed about yourself and replace them with the truth of who you are in Christ. Remember that you are deeply loved, and nothing can separate you from His love.
In this moment, rest in the peace that comes from knowing your true identity. Ask God to help you live in alignment with His design for your life and reflect His image in all that you do.
