Christmas: The Birth of Your Personal MiracleNäide

What’s Really Inside You?
Mary was willing to endure all the talk about her.
Joseph was willing to endure all the talk about him.
Are you willing to endure all the talk about you?
Well, that’s quite a way to start today, isn’t it? Maybe you’re dreaming of that delicious holiday meal to come very soon, and now I’m offering you some heavier food for thought, haha. No, that’s not how it’s meant. In fact, it’s actually something that’s supposed to help you feel lighter.
Because maybe you’re processing the hurtful words that were said during the pre-Christmas rush. Or you’re processing the heavy thoughts you’ve had over the past few days because you will be celebrating alone or sitting at a table where you don’t feel particularly welcome.
Today I want to tell you something upfront: You are so loved! YOU are loved!
God saw YOU and sent Jesus, His Son, into this world so that YOU could experience this love! “Yeah, but that’s exactly why everyone thinks I’m weird, because I believe in Jesus...”—maybe that’s what you’re thinking.
Mary had the exact same thoughts! People didn’t understand when she became pregnant, and apparently not even by Joseph. They didn’t understand that Joseph supported her through it!
But they both believed in Jesus! In the One who couldn’t yet be seen, but Mary could clearly feel Him inside her. And that helped her endure the pain she experienced.
We can endure any pain when we carry Jesus within us!
Jesus IN YOU wants to take away your pain and give you new joy today! Will you hand over your pain to Him?
And do you believe the words that apply to you as well: “The Lord is with you!” (Luke 1:28 NLT)
You are a miracle!
