Quitting Is the KeyNäide

Day 4: Quit Letting Hardship Define You
Friend, sometimes we let our problems define who we are. We all go through many challenges and hardships in life. Maybe you are waiting for some door to open this year, maybe you are waiting for finances to come or hoping to get a new job, at the same time thinking, “I’m a failure” or “I’ll never be happy.” maybe you think, “my circumstances can never be changed”. But that’s not true. In Jesus, you are not a victim—you are victorious. God wants to take your pain and turn it into something beautiful. You are His child, loved and chosen. "To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair." — Isaiah 61:3
Friend, what negative label have you put on yourself because of your struggles? How can you replace it with what God says about you?
Prayer:
God, I don’t want my struggles to define me. Help me to see myself as You see me—loved, strong, and victorious. Amen.
You are a miracle.
