We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to GodNäide

Day 27 of 365
In Matthew 18, Jesus teaches His disciples that greatness in God’s kingdom comes through humility, encouraging them to be like little children. The Holy Spirit nurtures this humility in our hearts, reminding us to approach God and others with gentleness and openness.
In Genesis 26, Isaac shows humility by moving away from conflict over wells, trusting God to provide for him elsewhere. The Spirit empowers us to choose peace and humility, teaching us that our security is in God’s hands.
Today, ask the Holy Spirit to cultivate a humble heart in you. Let Him guide your responses and remind you that true greatness lies in serving others and trusting God’s provision.

About this Plan

We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to God is a 365-day Bible reading plan led by Bishop Gary Lewis, the General Overseer of the Church of God. The plan is designed to deepen your faith and understanding of God’s Word. Each day begins with a short devotional, followed by carefully curated Scripture readings, and concludes with the S.O.A.P. exercise—Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer. Through this plan, you’ll grow in biblical literacy, discover God’s mercy and purpose, and learn to partner with Him in His Kingdom work.
