We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to GodNäide

Day 141 of 365
In Psalm 5, David declares, “In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.” David’s faith in God’s attentiveness shows a heart confident that prayer matters. The Holy Spirit encourages us to come to God with this same assurance, knowing that our prayers are not just spoken words—they are received by a loving Father who responds in ways we may not yet see.
In John 7, Jesus’ brothers question His actions, revealing their lack of understanding about His mission. But Jesus, undeterred, continues His path with confidence. The Spirit teaches us that prayer aligns us with God’s purposes and fills us with His peace, allowing us to trust in His timing even when others misunderstand.
Today, ask the Spirit to cultivate a heart of expectancy in prayer. Lay your requests before God, and trust that He hears you. Wait with faith, knowing that the Spirit is at work, moving on your behalf. Let this assurance fill you with peace and courage to walk in God’s timing and trust in His perfect plans.
