Always Near: 14 Days of Discovering God’s Presence Every DayNäide

Day 4: Rest in God’s Peace
Focus Scripture:
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28
Devotional:
When you feel tired or stressed, remember that God wants to give you rest. You don’t have to do everything on your own. God’s peace can help you feel calm and rested, even in tough times.
Look at it as a trade. You give God your burdens, and He will give you His peace. Sounds like a fair trade, right?
Don’t let self-isolation be your response to feeling overwhelmed. Instead, make God your first stop and allow Him to comfort you. Peace is the reward for seeking God first.
Today's Confession:
I can rest in God’s peace. He will give me strength and comfort when I am tired.
