One a DayNäide

The story of Melchizedek is a fascinating one. Genesis fourteen discusses a time when Abraham met this mysterious prophet, king, and priest. There are so many connections between Jesus and Melchizedek that the writer states that Jesus is from his line! There is a great argument that this Old Testament figure is Jesus. It is the only time bread and wine were served: Jesus served Abraham communion nearly two thousand years before He came to Bethlehem! Meditate on the preeminence of Christ.

About this Plan

Welcome to a plan that is designed to go slower together. We wanted to take things slow to allow for better meditation - one chapter a day covering every major division of the Bible. We staggered the order as well in order to keep things fresh. We have chosen a book from the Torah, historical books, the poetic writings, and the Prophets from the Old Testament. And, in the New Testament we have a Gospel, Pauline epistle, Hebrews, and the Revelation.
