Fear Is Not My Future | 21 Days of Prayer and FastingNäide

Ephesians chapter 6 is generally referred to as the chapter dealing with spiritual warfare. Our text further confirms this fact. The emphasis on prayer in this verse shows us that Paul was preparing the Ephesians for a serious battle ahead of them.
So, he urged them to pray as follows:
- To pray always and on every occasion.
- To pray only in the power of the Holy Spirit.
- He urged them to be vigilant and persistent in their prayers.
- They are to also pray for all Christians everywhere.
This kind of prayer is never easy, but it is worth the sacrifice. Why? Because you are praying for yourself, your family, your church family, the body of Christ as well as for unbelievers to be saved.
How would you describe your current prayer life? Have you tried a warfare prayer before? If not, find an area of your life where Satan tries the hardest to take advantage of you and engage him in a battle. Take him on by faith in prayer. Be persistent and trust God until you gain victory in that area.
