The Comeback KidNäide

As we move through the Easter season, think about the scene when Jesus entered Jerusalem thousands of years ago. He was surrounded by cheers and praises. People laid down their cloaks and palm branches, a sign of honor and celebration. That moment marked the beginning of something powerful. Jesus was being welcomed as King—the kind of King who was unlike any they had ever had before.
So, what does this mean for us today? Welcoming Jesus as King into our lives means recognizing His authority and honoring Him with our actions. Laying down our “cloaks” could represent giving up things that hinder our relationship with Him, whether that's distractions, fear, or pride. It’s about making space in our lives to fully embrace His leadership.
Today, consider what you need to set aside so that you can truly welcome and honor Jesus with your life.
