Before you could even think of choosing to follow Christ, he chose you as his own. You were in his heart long before you knew his name. He has watched you blossom and grow. Your creator did not stop at your conception. He knows your name, and he pursued you with passion long before you felt your heart come alive in his presence.

You are chosen, beloved. You are the apple of your Father’s eye. He is not disappointed in you. Even in the ways that you have fallen short, he does not hold even one of those things against you. He loves you. He longs to meet you, revive you, and transform you in his love. Chosen one, turn to the one who calls your name today. It is not too late to come to him surrendering all that you thought you wanted but that only disappointed you in the end. You are his beloved child. Come and be restored in his living mercy.

Father, I am undone at the power of your love for me. I choose you, Lord, knowing good and well that you chose me first.
