A Year in Luke/ActsNäide

It’s interesting to see that Paul is led by the Holy Spirit to Ephesus- the same place he was prevented by the Holy Spirit from preaching two years earlier (Acts 16:6). We can see the great results from waiting for God’s perfect timing. This is true in our personal lives, but especially in ministry. We are not always able to see at the moment if God is saying “wait” or “no”. In this case, it is clear now that he was telling Paul to wait.
You often will hear people complain if they are in a season of waiting. Whether you are waiting for clarity, direction, or the fulfillment of a promise, take heart in seeing the patterns in the Bible of God’s perfect timing. It’s always hard to hear in the moment, but his track record is proven true.
