Called to Create
As writers, we are co-creators with God. We are made in His image, which means we are designed with the ability to create. Just as God spoke creation into existence, He has given you the power to create worlds, stories, and truths through your writing. Your creativity isn't a coincidence; it's a divine calling. You have been equipped to share what God has placed on your heart through your unique voice.
God's creative Spirit lives within you, and your writing can become a tool to inspire, teach, and bring people closer to Him. Whether you’re writing fiction, non-fiction, or devotionals, know that you are moving in union with your Creator when you put pen to paper.
Practical Application:
Take some time today to reflect on how your writing mirrors God's creative work. Ask Holy Spirit, how can my words bring life, light, and truth to others? Write down what He shares with you.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for making me in Your image and giving me the gift of creativity. I acknowledge this calling and ask for Your guidance and inspiration as I write. Help me to write from an awareness of my union with You. Let your words flow through me as I write.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
