Walking With JesusNäide

Walk in the way of love
Throughout scripture, Jesus lived a life that championed love. His teachings and actions redefined the entire concept of love. For Jesus, love isn’t something that happens to you; it’s an action, a choice to seek the wellbeing of others without expecting anything in return.
There’s no greater example of love than Christ’s love for each of us. Jesus left His place in heaven to limit Himself to this world, enduring ridicule, scorn, unimaginable pain, and the most brutal of deaths. He always had a choice, yet He chose the path that led to our freedom.
To ‘walk in the way of love’ is to walk alongside Jesus and allow Him to teach us what love really means, to redefine the concept of love in each of our hearts, and to inform every part of who we are. Just as Jesus chose to extend His love to us, we too, as we walk with Him, are empowered to extend our love to others.
Thankfully, this ‘way of love’ is not entirely dependent on us. By His Spirit, in His love and strength, we walk on, ‘being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus’ (Philippians 1:6 NIV).

About this Plan

If you feel like you are walking this journey called life alone, take heart! Jesus wants to walk with you! ‘He may let us lead, encouraging us from behind, or be out front leading and protecting us. Other times right next to us as we talk to each other (that’s called prayer).’ (Who Is Your Walking Partner? - Robbie Parkin)
