Day 8: Rekindling the Fire of Prayer
**Reflection:**
Prayer is the lifeblood of a strong marriage. James 5:16 reminds us that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. When you and your husband pray together, you invite God’s power and presence into your marriage.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 encourages us to pray continually, making prayer a constant part of your relationship. Whether it’s praying together in the morning, before bed, or throughout the day, consistent prayer will strengthen the bond between you and your husband.
Matthew 18:19-20 highlights the power of agreement in prayer. When you and your husband agree in prayer, you align your hearts with God’s will and open the door for His blessings in your marriage.
Today, make a commitment to rekindle the fire of prayer in your marriage. Set aside time to pray with your husband and to seek God’s will together.
**Prayer:**
Lord, I ask for Your help in rekindling the fire of prayer in my marriage. Help us to pray together consistently and to seek Your will in all things. May our prayers be powerful and effective, drawing us closer to You and each other. Amen.
