Reading With the People of God - #6 LOVENäide

Memorization Challenge: 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Reading Primer: Pray this...
Gracious and Almighty God,
As we turn to Your Word, we ask for the light of Your Spirit to guide us. In the psalms, remind us of Your justice and steadfast love. As we read from Deuteronomy, grant us wisdom to understand Your call for righteous leadership and humility. In Paul's letter to the Corinthians, help us discern the way of faithfulness and avoid the pitfalls of pride and idolatry.
May Your Word speak truth into our hearts, transforming us to reflect Your will in our lives. Open our minds to Your wisdom, our hearts to Your grace, and our lives to the obedience of Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen
About this Plan

This is the sixth part of a reading plan through the Bible, following the lectionary pattern of reading in the Psalms, Old Testament, and New Testament each day. In addition, each day this month will feature a memorization challenge for 1 Corinthians 13 (The Love Chapter), and there will be brief devotionals from different people in our Church scattered throughout the plan.
