Jesus (In His Own Words)Näide

I Am the Good Shepherd
When Jesus says He’s the Good Shepherd, it’s more than just a nice image. Shepherds had a tough job. They spent all their time with their sheep – leading them to food and water, protecting them from danger, and caring for them when they were hurt. Jesus says that’s the kind of care He has for us. He knows us intimately, and He’s willing to give everything, even His Life, to protect and care for us.
There’s a lot of comfort in knowing we’re known and cared for like that. Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, and we can wonder if anyone really sees what we’re going through. But Jesus reassures us that He does. He knows our struggles, fears, and hopes, and He’s with us every step of the way, leading us to places of peace and safety.
Are you letting Jesus lead you, or are you trying to go it alone? Take a moment to thank Him for being your Good Shepherd and ask Him to help you follow His lead, trusting that He knows what’s best for you.
Prayer: Good Shepherd, thank You for knowing me so deeply and loving me so completely. Help me trust You to lead me and guide me, knowing that You always have my best in mind. I want to follow Your Voice wherever You take me.

About this Plan

We often make up our own minds about who Jesus is based on the opinions or actions of others. But what would happen if we went straight to the Source? If we let Jesus speak for Himself, in His own words, about who He is and what He came to do?
